This Cookie Policy explains how Ecavisto uses cookies and similar technologies on ecavisto.com. It complements our Privacy Policy and applies to all visitors from Ecuador and abroad.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow the site to remember your preferences (such as language) and to understand how visitors interact with the content.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies keep the site functional and remember your consent choices; they cannot be disabled. Preference cookies remember your language selection between /ec and /en. Analytics cookies help us measure aggregated traffic and improve the content — they only load if you accept them. Marketing cookies are currently not used on Ecavisto.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
Ecavisto implements Google Consent Mode v2. By default all consent categories (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage) are set to "denied" until you make a choice in the cookie banner. Your choice is stored locally and respected across all pages.
4. Managing your cookies
You can accept, reject or update your preferences at any time from the cookie banner, which you can reopen using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. You can also delete existing cookies through your browser's privacy settings.
5. Third parties
When analytics cookies are enabled, aggregated technical data may be processed by Google LLC. This is done only with your consent and in accordance with the applicable data-protection framework.
